Each plant medicine ceremony is a sacred container for a deeply personal journey—an unfolding of remembrance, release, and reconnection with your spirit, supported by sound, stillness, and the wisdom of the Earth.

At The Journey Healing Oasis, we lead our ceremonies with sacred mushroom medicine, ethogenics and herbs, creating space for emotional release, spiritual insight, and deep connection.

Some journeys also include Hapé (ha-PAY), a sacred Amazonian blend of powdered plants gently blown through the nose. Earthy and grounding, Hapé clears mental fog, calms the nervous system, and brings you back into presence.

This isn’t about intensity—it’s about precision. A soft return. A reset for your body and spirit before the deeper unfolding begins.

Hapé (pronounced ha-PAY) is a sacred, shamanic snuff made from finely ground Amazonian plants—most commonly a blend of jungle tobacco (Nicotiana rustica) and other healing herbs. Used for thousands of years by Indigenous tribes, Hapé is a spiritual medicine, not a recreational substance.

Traditionally blown through the nostrils using a pipe (called a kuripe for self-application or a tepi when administered by a facilitator), Hapé is used in prayerful ceremony to:

• Clear energetic blockages

• Quiet the mind

• Open the breath and sinuses

• Realign the nervous system

• Deepen connection to the Earth and Spirit

The experience is grounding and cleansing. You may feel a rush of clarity, a shift in perception, or a release through tears, yawns, or purging. Each blend has its own vibration, and the medicine meets you exactly where you are.

Hapé is often used at the beginning or in the midst of a plant medicine ceremony to open the space, deepen presence, and prepare the body to receive guidance.

This sacred medicine is always offered with reverence, intention, and prayer—honoring the lineage and wisdom of the forest.
